Experts in intralogistics: Leuze electronic at LogiMAT 2019
As an expert in conveyor and storage systems, Leuze electronic presents smart sensor solutions for intralogistics at LogiMAT 2019, the 17th international trade fair for intralogistics solutions and process management, from February 19-21 in Stuttgart.
Owen, November 9, 2018 – At a new location, in Hall 3, Booth B71, sensor expert Leuze electronic will be presenting its specialized knowledge of the intralogistics industry at LogiMAT 2019. Over 55 years of experience have made the sensor people experts in solutions for this industrial environment in particular. Together with its customers, the optical sensor manufacturer from Owen/Teck develops customer-specific solutions that are tailored to their needs – always with the goal of making the automation process even faster and more economical for its customers. Focus at the company’s trade show appearance this year is on effective and safe sensor solutions for continuous conveyors and automated guided vehicles (AGVs). With regard to materials handling, sensors from Leuze electronic enable speedy and reliable object detection, even under difficult conditions. A smooth production process is thereby guaranteed and the protection of man and machine ensured. A practical example of this is the special exhibit for "Smart Process Gating," which was developed on the basis of the MLC safety light curtain. This sensor solution, which functions without the use of signal-emitting sensors, represents a true alternative to the muting process. Leuze electronic also has a flexible answer at the ready for automated guided vehicles and side-tracking skates (AGVs) and will be presenting this with another special exhibit: with the RSL 400 Navi, Leuze electronic presents a safe scanner that combines safety technology with high-quality measurement value output in one device. This enables reliable safeguarding and navigation of AGVs. Even when using multiple vehicles, these can be controlled collision-free and routes easily adapted. This makes the production system very flexible. Flexible optical guidance is provided by the OGS 600. This is a new sensor that enables cost-efficient vehicle automation for the transport of materials and goods in production and storage areas. With its edge detection and control signal transmission to the control, the trace can be guided optically, which means that driving can be automated in the simplest of ways. The compact design of the OGS 600 and its low minimum distance to the ground of 10 mm means it can be integrated even into flat vehicles. Models with different detection widths and response times cover a wide range of possible applications, even for narrow curves and at high speeds. Visit the sensor people in hall 3, booth B71!
