Hagmann Media is responsible for the processing of personal data described in this Privacy Policy unless otherwise stated.

We process personal data in accordance with applicable Swiss data protection law, in particular the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection laws.

2. Personal Data We Process

The personal data we process depends on how you use Sens2B and how you interact with us.

We may process categories of information including:

  • company and organisation details;
  • email addresses and telephone numbers where voluntarily provided;
  • information contained in emails and other communications;

We aim to process only the personal data that is reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.

3. Visiting Sens2B and Server Log Data

Sens2B is currently operated through an external hosting and website service provider.

Sens2B uses Google Analytics to obtain statistical information about the use of our website.

According to Google, individual IP addresses of users in the European Union, Switzerland and the United Kingdom are not logged or stored in Google Analytics in a way that preserves the full individual address, and IP-related processing is subject to Google's current analytics architecture and documentation.

7.1 Consent

Google Analytics is activated on Sens2B only where the required consent has been given.

Where the GDPR applies, the relevant processing is generally based on your consent pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.

You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future through the cookie or privacy settings provided on the website.

7.2 Google Consent Mode

Where technically implemented, Sens2B may use Google Consent Mode in order to communicate your consent choices to Google services and control the behaviour of Google tags accordingly.

We recommend and intend a configuration in which Google Analytics tags are activated for analytics purposes only after the relevant consent has been given.

7.3 Data Transfers by Google

Google is an international group of companies. In connection with Google Analytics, data may therefore also be processed by other Google entities or service providers.

This may include processing outside Switzerland or the European Economic Area.

According to Google, appropriate transfer mechanisms and contractual safeguards are used where required for international data transfers.

8. YouTube Videos

Sens2B may embed videos from YouTube.

YouTube is a service provided by the Google group.

Where technically possible, we use YouTube's enhanced privacy mode or embeds through youtube-nocookie.com.

Even with such an implementation, technical data may be transmitted to Google or YouTube when a video is loaded or played.

Depending on the configuration, this may include:

  • IP address;
  • browser and device information;
  • the page being viewed;
  • date and time of access;
  • information about interaction with the video; and
  • other technical information.

If you are simultaneously logged in to a Google or YouTube account, Google may be able to associate information with your account.

We recommend that YouTube content be implemented so that the actual video or connection to YouTube is loaded only after the visitor has given the relevant consent or actively enabled the content.

Where consent is required, YouTube content will be activated only after the relevant consent has been given.

Further processing by YouTube or Google is governed by the privacy policies of the relevant provider.

9. External Links

Sens2B contains numerous links to third-party websites, particularly manufacturers, suppliers, product pages, specialist organisations, event organisers and other external resources.

Displaying a normal external link does not generally mean that the operator of the linked website receives information about you.

Once you click an external link, you leave Sens2B and access the respective third-party website.

The operator of that external website is generally responsible for any subsequent processing of personal data.

We have no control over how third-party websites process personal data.

We therefore recommend reviewing the privacy information of the relevant external website.

10. Contact by Email

Sens2B currently does not use a contact form.

If you contact us by email at info@sens2b.com or through another email address used by Hagmann Media, we process the information you provide in order to respond to and manage your enquiry.

This may include:

  • email address;

  • professional position;
  • telephone number;
  • content of your message;
  • attachments; and
  • other information voluntarily provided.

15. No Newsletter

Sens2B currently does not operate an email newsletter.

Accordingly, we do not currently collect personal data through Sens2B for newsletter registration or regular newsletter distribution.

If a newsletter is introduced again in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated before or together with the introduction of the relevant functionality.

16. No Contact Form and No Google Maps

Sens2B currently does not use a contact form. Communication takes place by email.

Google Maps is currently not embedded on Sens2B.

If such functionality is introduced in the future, we will review the related data protection implications and update this Privacy Policy where necessary.

17. Legal Bases under the GDPR

Where the GDPR applies to a specific processing activity, the processing may in particular rely on the following legal bases:

  • Article 6(1)(a) GDPR – Consent: particularly in connection with Google Analytics, YouTube or other optional third-party technologies where consent is required;
  • Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – Contract or pre-contractual measures: particularly for quotations, paid listings, advertising and other commercial services;

Where we rely on legitimate interests, those interests include the secure and economically sustainable operation of our specialist portal, our editorial activities, maintaining business relationships and protecting our legal interests.

18. Disclosure of Personal Data

We do not sell personal data.

Personal data may be disclosed or made accessible to third parties where this is reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
