Extensions for Safety Switches and Safety Locking Devices

Now an even broader product lineup

The 2NC/1NO contact block is now also available in nearly all series of the Safety Switches and Safety Locking Devices from Leuze electronic. As a result, safety-oriented applications can be extended with these devices to include signals for status messages. For example, when using a switch, the position status of a door (open/closed) can be passed on to the control, in addition to the E-STOP function. The advantage is obvious: installation effort is reduced considerably for the user, as he no longer needs the second sensor for this signal.

In addition, a new model of the S400 Safety Hinge Switch—the S410—is available with wider fork dimensions. It was dimensioned for greater profile thicknesses and special materials. That predestines this switch for glass and plastic hoods, for example, since the fasteners, which lie further inward, provide additional stability here.

Furthermore, with the ERS200 E-STOP Rope Switch, rope lengths of up to 70 m are possible. These Safety Command Devices can, thus, now also be used on systems that are considerably larger than was possible in the past.

With the additions to the product range for switches, locking devices and command devices, Leuze electronic is well equipped to meet the high demands placed on these safety-oriented components in practical applications.
