Owen, February 1, 2019 – Leuze electronic recognizes the mav Innovations FORUM as an important platform for the metalworking industry that combines the strengths of a conference with those of a trade fair. In 2019, Leuze electronic will, for this reason, once again be present at the mav Innovations FORUM on March 21 in Böblingen as a technology leader in the area of optical sensors – as an exhibitor and with a presentation on the topic "Safety at work – how can machine tools and systems function safely and efficiently?" Michael Scalet, Industry Manager Machine Tools at Leuze electronic and speaker at the FORUM explains: "Sensors have long been used for much more than simply controlling processes – of particular importance today is linking processes together." In his article on this topic, he shows how the cooperation of man and machine can be structured innovatively, efficiently as well as safely through the use of intelligent sensor and control solutions. Michael Scalet will give his presentation during the "Machine elements and automation" block in the Bergama Hall at 3:30 p.m.
