Innovative solutions for acoustic measuring, testing and monitoring tasks

Microtech Gefell: In 2024, MTG will once again be meeting the growing challenges for innovative technologies and products in the technical acoustics sector at the leading trade fair for sensor and measurement technology in Nuremberg.

After the successful SENSOR+TEST 2023 with 338 exhibitors from Germany and abroad, over 5000 visitors and approx. 700 congress participants, the international trade fair will also contribute to the success of an intensive innovation dialog with customers and business partners from all over the world in 2024.

With 87 years of tradition in the research, development and production of acoustic measurement technology, Microtech Gefell is participating with a wide range of future-oriented high-end solutions.

This year's highlights include advanced in- and outdoor measurement microphones with integrated digital preamplifiers, newly developed measurement microphones such as the M 380 based on microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), optimized sound power hemispheres, sound intensity probes, capsules and calibrators.

New and proven sensors, measuring microphones and acoustic systems will be presented

For example, the new WME 980 CN weatherproof microphone units with the MV 240 digital measuring microphone preamplifier for permanent outdoor noise monitoring and stationary or mobile traffic noise monitoring, turnkey outdoor pass-by solutions (real drive-by noise measurement) as a decisive method (e.g. for the certification of a vehicle type approval).

The trade fair portfolio also includes a large number of tried-and-tested solutions. For example, the MMS 214 measurement microphone with particularly low inherent noise for measurements of extremely low sound pressure levels or the MMS 212, which can withstand the toughest environmental conditions.

Traditionally, a wide range of sound intensity probes, high-end calibrators or the advanced MV 240 digital, whose range of applications extends from industry to higher education and technical schools, will be presented

DAkkS calibration services are also offered in accordance with the latest global standard DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018.

In line with the increasing importance of alternative energy generation and health-related noise protection, MTG continues to be present with complete measuring systems for sound measurements on wind turbines / WTGs.
