Miniature ICP® Triaxial Accelerometer
10 mV/g Sensitivity in a Small One Gram Package
November 10, 2011, Depew, NY - PCB Piezotronics, Inc., a world leader in vibration, acoustic, pressure, force, and torque sensors, announces the release of a new miniature ICP® triaxial accelerometer. Model 356A03 delivers high 10 mV/g sensitivity in a miniature 0.25" (6.3 mm) cube. The model includes a hermetic seal design with a lower noise floor and higher shock limit than competitive offerings, all at a lower price. In addition, it features a redesigned cable strain relief connection with a larger and stronger crimp tube, providing improved shear & tensile strength. The 356A03 is compatible with any ICP® signal conditioner or readout device that includes ICP® power. This model is CE certified and is a stock product.
Typical applications include small component qualification, structural vibration, environmental stress screening, noise vibration and harshness, and vibration measurements with space restrictions. Model 356A03 is offered with PCB's Total Customer Satisfaction guarantee. For more information go to www.pcb.com/356A03 or contact Bill Coffta at 716-684-0002 or bcoffta@pcb.com.
