eNod4 : A High performance weighing function for your automated system

World leader in load cells and weighing solutions, SCAIME is introducing eNod4, its new generation of high performance weighing controllers. Intelligent Weighing module eNod4 has been specially designed for easy and fast integration in any automated system.

Meeting the flexibility needs of OEMs and system integrators, eNod4 offers Modbus RTU, CANopen and PROFIBUS-DP interfaces for a perfect connectivity with the main PLCs on the market. It presents also many features facilitating its integration:

• Setting the node number and speed of communication directly on the module.
• Access to all parameters and functions via the PLC communication bus.
• 2 digital inputs and 4 outputs fully configurable.
• Factory setting allowing a module exchange without losing calibration

SCAIME designed eNod4 for most demanding weighing applications in terms of accuracy and speed, such as filling and packaging machines. So eNod4 offers:

• A conversion speed up to 1600 measurements / s and a maximum resolution of 500 000 divisions.
• Includes and uses a library of powerful digital filters dedicated to vibration noise cancellation.

To make easy eNod4 implementation, SCAIME offers eNodView, a PC freeware for set up and calibration, measurement acquisition as well as digital filtering simulation.
