New Android App for texense® CAN sensor set-up

Texys International: tAST® (texense® Android Smart Tool) is the new dedicated setting tool developed by Texys to allow the users of CAN based texense® sensors to change by themselves the sensors parameters.

tAST® has been developed under Android OS and can be easily and freely downloaded from Play Store of Google play to be installed on any Android smartphone or tablet PC.

tAST® is a user-friendly interface with comprehensive features helping the user to change sensors parameters in simply using his fingertips :

• CAN line checking
• CAN parameters change:
  • Baud rate
  • Emission frequency
  • CAN ID
  • Degree units (Celsius or Fahrenheit)
  • Gain factor
  • Response time

Additionally tAST® includes also a special feature to be logged in serial link with hyperterminal commands to other specific texense® programmable sensors or amplifiers such as texense® XN4 strain gauge amplifier.

tAST® interface is fully compatible with any android smartphone or tablet, with any touch screen size. However a minimum 10.1” screen is recommended when using hyperterminal feature.
