Complex measurement data acquisition is often quite expensive. In times of cost reduction, flexible solutions are in demand that can be expanded as needed. ALMEMO® digital measurement technology offers simple networks for just a few sensors up to comprehensive measurement data acquisition. Modern data communication is a matter of course. The technology also offers the unique possibility of digitizing existing analog sensors and integrating them into the measurement network.

The high-precision ALMEMO® 202-S/204 general-purpose data logger with 2 or 4 inputs serves as an entry point. Even a small number of devices can form a feature-rich and reliable measurement network for recording a wide variety of measured variables. Like the sensors, the devices can be permanently installed or used mobile. Measurements are taken in real time and stored in the device memory. The WinControl measurement software is available for monitoring and evaluation. The devices are networked via cable, wireless radio, WLAN, or Ethernet. The peripherals are controlled in the same way. The network technology is always housed in the smart ALMEMO® connector and takes up very little space. The measurement network can be controlled and configured via the user's terminal device. ALMEMO® WLAN modules can be operated for local networks as access points or via external WLAN networks as clients, for example via a company network. The measurement inputs on the devices are designed for connecting multifunctional sensors and can be programmed with calculation functions via the intelligent connection plug. The areas of application are diverse and range from monitoring sensitive processes to comprehensive monitoring of a wide variety of measuring stations.
