Flexible measurement technology for quality assurance, test field and process optimization

Whether in the test field, in development, quality assurance or process optimization, the data logger ALMEMO 710 always finds its application. The device has 10 analog and digital measurement inputs. The high measuring accuracy, a fast measuring rate, the optimal display of the measured values and an easy operation via an illuminated touch screen characterize the device. The housing with rubber shock protection is handy and compact and can be used for mobile tasks, as a desktop device or stationary in a wall-mounted housing. In addition to an initial graphical evaluation of the measurement data on the display, the data can be stored and read out later using professional measurement software. The device is equipped with up-to-date interfaces for networking and peripherals. A special feature of the ALMEMO measurement technology is the possible connection of almost all sensors of any manufacturer. Thus, numerous measuring tasks can be solved with only one device.

Application example lathes: A wide range of sensors is available for machine monitoring and checking the tool temperature. For example, a temperature measurement to compensate for the length and expansion of the workpiece can be taken simultaneously with logging of the environment such as room air temperature and humidity. Infrared sensors for non-contact temperature measurement can also be easily connected. The advantage of using digital sensors is the possibility of transferring measured values to the control system. In addition, digital sensors can be calibrated independently of the measuring device so that there is no interruption in the process. With intelligent, digital ALMEMO connector plugs, already installed sensor technology can continue to be used and, in addition, their digitalization can be made possible.
