Multidimensional measurement technology

Unbelievable but true: ALMEMO® measurement technology from Ahlborn can really measure everything. Only a single data logger is needed to record every conceivable measurement variable. The intelligent ALMEMO® connector system allows numerous sensors to be connected: temperature, humidity, flow, pressure, force, electrical variables, radiation, gas concentration and many more.

One example of such a multi-talented device is the brand new ALMEMO® 510 data logger. The modular measurement system can be perfectly adapted to any application. For particularly large projects, the data logger can be expanded to up to 100 measurement inputs and 1000 measurement channels, depending on the housing. The 8 MB flash memory can store 400,000 to 1.5 million measured values.

Analog sensors are measured using a built-in fast, high-resolution AD converter. The additional galvanic isolation between measurement inputs and power supply also increases measurement quality. ALMEMO® D6 and D7 sensors transmit their measured values digitally to the measuring device. But regardless of which sensors are used, all parameters are always fully configured using the free ALMEMO® Connect software.

The KL option allows multi-point adjustment or linearization to be programmed in the ALMEMO® connector for ALMEMO® sensors. All networks suitable for ALMEMO® measurement technology are possible via digital ALMEMO® output cables: RS232, USB, Ethernet, WLAN and ALMEMO® radio module.

Online measurements are made possible with the WinControl software, for which the measuring device is operated as a PC interface. Light-emitting diodes indicate the operating states on the interface card and the measuring circuit cards. Extra protection is provided for long-term measurements: a battery compartment serves to bridge short-term interruptions in the power supply. If the PC connection is interrupted, the measured values in the measuring circuit card can be buffered in the built-in data memory (configurable fail-safe mode). The RTA6 relay/trigger/analog interface is available as a plug-in card for outputting alarm and control signals. The outputs can be controlled either directly from the measuring device or from the WinControl software.
