SIL3 - Mechanical pressure switches

Barksdale's BT/BX, DT/DX, DPDT, 9671x/9681x/9692x and 8000 Series mechanical pressure switches now meet SIL3 in accordance with IEC 61508. The mechanical evaluation consists of an analysis of the failure modes, effects and diagnostics. The switches are available in a wide range of designs and measuring ranges, e.g. -0.006 ... -1 bar vacuum (DT diaphragm pressure switches) or 4.8 ... 950 bar (BT Bourdon tube pressure switches). The advantages of the CETOP compact switch series 8000 are very low and precise switching point settings. The application areas of the SIL3 switches range from mobile and stationary hydraulics, tool and machine construction, heavy industry, shipbuilding, offshore, chemical industry and many more.
