ETLG Inertial Aerosystems announce the Railstar™ range of accelerometers and inclinometers designed specifically for the rail industry. Certified to CENELEC/AREMA standards, 11 different models provide measuring capability in the most demanding environments.

The Railstar range provides single or dual axis measurement with analogue or digital outputs. The force rebalance and MEMS designs are rugged and reliable and are used around the world in rapid transit, metro and high speed rail applications. They are crucial components in safety and control systems aboard railcars. Other models are suitable for track and infrastructure maintenance and construction, including tilt monitoring in tunnels. They can be used with most laser surveying recorders establishing catenary, super-elevation and cross-rail position.
