New accessories for light grids PSENopt from Pilz - Resistant to shock etc.
New accessories such as post protectors, protective housings and deviating mirrors are now available for light grids PSENopt from Pilz. The new protective housings can be used in all lengths, for protection types up to IP6K9K. As a result, the light grids from Pilz can be used in all environments with condensation or high humidity. They are also safely protected against collision or vibration thanks to the new post protectors and are therefore suitable for use in rugged environmental conditions. Application areas for light grids PSENopt include all areas of engineering; with their new accessories, PSENopt are particularly beneficial in the packaging, food and logistics sector.
Thanks to the new post protectors, the light grids are now safely protected against shock, collision or vibration even in rugged industrial environments. The installation of deviating mirrors, which enable the light curtain beams to be easily deflected, guarantees a larger protected field, without using additional light grids for protection.
With the new protective housings, light grids PSENopt from Pilz are particularly suitable where machinery needs to be cleaned using a high pressure water jet or aggressive materials, due to strict hygiene requirements for example. All outer materials and connection cables on the light grids exhibit high chemical resistance. With their long service life they not only offer high security of investment but also high plant availability. Maintenance is also easy thanks to a built-in diagnostic function via LED.
Thanks to a rotatable mounting bracket, the protective housings enable not only rapid installation but also individual alignment. So the PSENopt can be used all-round in every direction, which helps to improve workstation ergonomics.
