AG06 – a miniature powerhouse that rocks your actuator spindle!
"Short cycle times and setup times, high productivity and high quality with low investment costs", this is the success formula for optimal machining processes. The DriveLine actuators of the SIKO GmbH are especially well suited for this. The new miniature AG06 actuator offers an excellent power to weight ratio for decentralized positioning tasks.
Automatic adjustment of formats, end stops and tools, together with many other comparable positionings:
The intelligent AG06 actuator easily takes care of all these tasks, including installation situations requiring high forces. And the multi-talent, compact class actuator stands out not only due to its high torque, but also thanks to its numerous technical advantages.
The AG06 allows flexible integration in diverse machine concepts, making it especially interesting for both OEMs and operators. Startup is either via the drive itself or via bus communication. Installation requires no additional materials. The programming effort and the setup and adjustment times are minimal, enabling fast activation. A two-line display perfectly supports the operator during simple startup and also allows the monitoring of set point values and actual values during operation.
The AG06 has a stainless steel hollow shaft with a diameter of 20 millimeters. The hard-wearing, fiberglass reinforced plastic housing with smooth surface is highly resistant to acids and bases. The actuator is installed directly onto the feed axis and auxiliary axes.
The compact housing contains a brushless 24 V DC motor with a planetary gear, controller, power electronics and an integrated field bus interface
Since the power supply for the control electronics and power electronics is implemented separately, integration in different safety concepts is made very easy with the AG06. The integrated control electronics substantially relieves the superior PLC. Furthermore, temperature, current and tracking error monitoring functions are integrated in the drive. The charging condition of the battery is monitored continuously and indicates the need to replace the battery - which the user can perform - well enough in advance. The battery buffering of the magnetic measuring system also scans deviations in position in the de-energized state, making repeated referencing unnecessary.
The AG06 is predestined for limited spaces with high-torque tasks. Profit from decentralized and modular automation with DriveLine: a wide range of models and performance classes allow flexible scaling for "tailor made" solutions – from the basic model to the high-end application.
