Balluff Vision Sensor BVS – Starter kit available

The BVS Vision Sensor from Balluff is ideal wherever a variety of details need to be detected as part of 100% quality inspection: The unit represents a complete solution with seven different evaluation functions and the ability to perform up to 16 inspection tasks at the same time.

Functions such as counting edges, recognizing patterns, checking contours, and monitoring contrast and position are all carried out at a detection rate of up to 15 Hz, sending the results to the PLC or process controller as OK/Defect signals from three independent outputs. The integrated LED light source ensures optimum illumination of the target area.

A new addition is the BVS Starter Kit, which is based on the tried and true Balluff BMS Mounting System. With the Starter Kit connecting and starting up the Vision Sensor is child’s play. It includes everything needed for reliable and shake-free operation, such as cable, mounting bracket and screws, a printed quick-start sheet and the intuitive BVS ConVis® software. This menu-guided software eliminates lengthy training or the need to learn any special programming language such as required by many other vision sensors.
