Baumer acceleration sensor: safety with certificate

SIL2/PLd-certified acceleration sensor GAM900S by Baumer was particularly developed to detect and monitor vibration and shock at wind power stations. The master control is provided with precise acceleration information to prevent any  excess vibration at an early stage. The sensor operates free from wear and maintenance. IP 67 protection and temperature capabilities from  -40 to +85 °C ensure extreme robustness. The product variant in glass-fiber reinforced plastic housing even withstands corrosive environments of the C5M category and is also available in aluminium housing as an option. The master control is supplied with the acceleration information via CANopen interface or analog output. A multicolor LED as an activity indicator allows for easy on-site diagnostics.
