BFS10 flow switches in stainless steel with or without optical indication

With the series BFS10 Barksdale offers two flow switches in brass or stainless steel for the measurement and monitoring of liquid media. The BFS series operate on the principle of variable area flow, providing high reliability with a robust design.

The switching point may be factory set or adjusted locally within the switching range, and the switches may installed in any orientation. The flow switch is available in two versions: without visual indication (BFS-10-N) and with visual indication (BFS-10-O).

In case of a flow switch with visual display the top of the float is the reading edge and at the same time it shows on the scale of the sight glass on the flow rate.

The measuring range of BFS is 10 at 0.005 ... 0.06 l / min to 60 ... 150 l / min for water. The accuracy is + / -10% f.s. The operating temperature is at 100 ° C, optionally at 160 ° C. The devices are - like all Barksdale BFS flow switches - also available with ATEX Ex ia IIB T6 approval.
