Cable load limiters

Magtrol SA, Switzerland, specialist in force measurement, presents a new range of load limiters. The cable tension sensor of the type SK-02, based on strain gauges technology, is the ideal sensor for a quick installation without mechanical modification of the existing installation. This totally in stainless steel produced sensor is adapted to cables with a diameter from 8 to 22 mm, and connected to an amplifier type LMU, is the essential element for the overload controlling of cranes or other lifting installations.

Available in the Magtrol product range too, the traction sensor type ZL-03 allows the measurement of suspended load. Designed for the withstanding of long-term dynamic requests, this sensor represents as well an excellent alternative when being used in difficult environments. Declined in several versions from 10 to 100 kN, this transducer offers moreover a large overload capacity, an excellent long-term stability as well as a high precision.
