Sensing distance indication (Si) is a new option available with the capacitive High Performance Sensors from Rechner. In addition to the green-yellow LED, which as usual shows power-on and operation state, there is a further green-yellow-red LED, which provides the user with information about the adjusted sensitivity or sensing distance. The LED is green when the distance is set at a sensing distance up to the nominal sensing distance for that sensor. Up to the maximum permissible operating distance it is yellow. Finally the LED flashes red when the sensitivity is adjusted too high, By means of this optional feature all users can ensure that for complete safety of their application green for go really means just that. Literally within the green range, wrong adjustment becomes a thing of the past.

This feature is available for capacitive sensors from body size 30 mm.
