catman®AP 3.1 data acquisition software – new functions for more convenient acquisition of your measurement data
There are many interesting innovations for the user in the new version 3.1 of the catman®AP software, to make it even easier to take measurements and analyze measurement data.
HBM (Hottinger Baldwin Messtechnik GmbH) is the world’s leading supplier for measurement technology. For sixty years, HBM solutions have been relied on for the complete measuring chain, from virtual to physical testing and from strain gages and sensors to data acquisition and analysis.
With their innovate and easy to operate catman®AP data acquisition software, HBM amplifier systems can be clearly set up and can acquire, display and analyze the measured values without the need for any programming.
There are many interesting innovations for the user in the new version 3.1 of the catman®AP software, to make it even easier to take measurements and analyze measurement data.
Distinct improvements have already been made for setting up a measurement. Convenient display filters help users to keep track when there are large numbers of measurement channels.
The new “cycle counter” mathematics function, for example, makes it easy to count the periods in a periodic signal without connecting and parameterizing an additional hardware channel.
In the new version, catman®AP also supports the new measurement technology hardware of the SOMAT eDAQ series for mobile data acquisition. The eDAQ system is specifically designed for harsh environmental conditions, and can independently record the measurement data.
catman®AP offers a convenient way to parameterize eDAQ, and makes it very easy to prepare a standalone measurement. The measured values are then recorded and stored in the device without a connected PC, and after measurement, they can be read out and analyzed.
