– Changing director at the OPtOcon AG - OPTOcon AG: In December 2011 Mr. Helmut Sebastian officially took over his new position as CEO of OPTOcon AG, after being involved in business development for several months. “During this time I got first insights into the various business areas and also initial customer feedback. These confirmed my assessment of the company: we have a highly motivated and professional team!”.

His primary goal as the new CEO will be the further development of Optocon with focus on business organization and internal processes. To increase the efficiency is the motto of Helmut Sebastian:

“This includes the further improvement of production processes and efficiency of in-house production, as well as strengthening of our quality management.” Development and expansion of the international partner network should encourage the corporate growth and open up new business areas. Mr. Helmut Sebastian, prior regional general manager Siemens Ltd. China, looks back on many years of experience as executive in the electronic industry. Due to his long stay abroad he is also a competent partner for OPTOcon's international customers.
