Color sensors from Micro-Epsilon

As of 1st April the company Eltrotec Sensor GmbH will be operating as Micro-Epsilon Eltrotec GmbH. Therefore, Eltrotec is now much closer to the company group Micro-Epsilon. The company Eltrotec will focus on non-contact sensors, its core competency. The company will reduce its core competence to three sectors color detection, optical micrometers and endoscopes. Eltrotec works closely with Micro-Epsilon Messtechnik in the fields of selling optical micrometers and color sensors. In this field of non-contact measurement technology the most vital synergy effects can be seen. This offers benefits for both, Eltrotec and Micro-Epsilon Messtechnik. Besides non-contact displacement technology, systems and machines, and temperature sensors, Micro-Epsilon offers sensors for color, gap and edge detection. The support for the new product ranges will be still carried out by Micro-Epsilon Eltrotec. They create a new competence center within the company group while pooling the comprehensive product know how. This is of special advantage if special solutions or product modifications are required. The sensors are mainly applied as machine equipment for non-contact production controlling and quality assurance. Precise measurement technology offered by Micro-Epsilon will be rounded of by this new product range.
