Crank Angle Encoder Set Type 2614A
Kistler Instrumente AG: Crank angle encoder set Type 2614A provides the reference for all measurements related to the crank angle. It is used wherever this angle is required for calculating combustion analysis parameters.
Crank angle encoder set Type 2614A consists of an angle encoder and associated separate electronic components:
- Speed range 0 ... 20 000 1/min
- Suitable for cold start measurements
- Very robust and withstands high mechanical loads
The measurements can be taken from an engine speed of zero. This enables accurate measurement of cold starting in test vehicles and on low-temperature test stands. The wide speed range up to 20 000 1/min allows measurements to be taken on high speed engines also.
The crank angle sensor provides a resolution of 0,5° CA at the LVDS output. The crank angle processor is an option if TTL signals and additional resolution is required. It provides resolution down to 0,1° CA and a second angle mark signal with a 1° resolution, for engine control.
