eddylab receives ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 certification

eddylab GmbH, Bavarian specialist for sensor and measurement technology has received certification according to the international environmental management standard ISO 14001:2015, which took place in process of the recertification of the quality management standard ISO 9001:2015 in December 2021.Thus, eddylab GmbH takes a broad approach to a sustainable, energy-efficient management with optimally adjusted operational processes.

"From the very beginning, it was important to us to focus not only on the high-quality standards we set for our products, but also on the responsible handling and protection of the environment by acting in a sustainable and environmentally friendly manner," emphasizes Managing Director Payam Andreas Saghafi. "The environmental certificate now proofs our claim to continuously optimize our own quality and environmental awareness."

eddylab produces sensors at its own company site in Otterfing, which was built in 2018 according to high environmental and energy standards and features energy-efficient and resource-conscious manufacturing. "We have systematically defined our environmental goals and derived appropriate measures. Our goal is to use raw materials sparingly and carefully, reduce emissions, optimize production processes and ultimately produce sustainable and efficient sensors with a long service life," comments Christian Schrick, Production Manager and CEO at eddylab.

Another success was the recertification of the ISO standard 9001:2015. eddylab GmbH was already awarded the worldwide approved quality standard for the first time in 2015 and has continuously improved its processes since then.
