MEGATRON encoders deliver high-precision values to the control system

Magnetic encoders from the HTx and ETx series by MEGATRON allow mobile machinery to be operated safely and economically. A wide range of electrical and mechanical options are available to customers to ensure optimum integration into their applications. The customization of products from small quantities upwards is particularly beneficial for SMEs.

MEGATRON offers the right rotary encoder solution for construction machinery, agricultural machinery and industrial trucks with its HTx series of contactless rotary encoders in a robust metal housing. These angle sensors are available as singleturn or multiturn versions with solid or hollow shafts. A selection of analogue and digital interfaces, as well as variants with CANbus (HTx36E rotary encoder), ensure optimum integration.

The ETx series of encoders, housed in an economical plastic casing, covers a wide range of applications. They are available in single- and multiturn versions with digital and analogue interfaces, as well as in kit, threaded bushing and flanged forms.

The magnetic encoders in the HTx36E series are ideal for use in machines with a CAN bus interface, such as CANopen and SAE J1939. These gearless, battery-powered, multiturn encoders offer an extremely high resolution of 16 bits in the singleturn version and up to 43 bits in the multiturn version. They deliver remarkable system and repeat accuracy (better than ±0.09°) and can count up to 243 revolutions (8.8 trillion).

The HTx36E encoders offer high immunity to temperature fluctuations and electromagnetic interference. They feature a stainless steel shaft with double ball bearings and a high IP protection class, as well as shock and vibration resistance. The encoders not only record angular positions, but also important status information, making them ideal for predictive maintenance. They warn if the actuating speed or temperature range is exceeded, or in the event of a hardware defect (EEPROM) or CAN overrun.
