EPN: Pressure transmitter for rugged applications

The next generation pressure transmitter ‘EPN’ is a substitute for the EPT family. It is designed for rugged applications in the marine sector such as diesel engines.

The EPN offers a reliable function under harsh conditions where strong vibrations and extended temperature conditions exist. The new model is very compact and thanks to its wide flat of 27mm is very mounting-friendly. It has improved technical performance and reliability and is available at a lower price than the old version.

The EPN is also approved by many marine application bodies. Thanks to a Trafag developed ASIC and a reduced number of electronic components the EPN’s operation is more reliable and the risk of failure is minimized. Further are two different accuracies available. The pressure transmitter is having an EN175301-803 (DIN43650) electrical connector and the IP65 protection is achieved without mounted female connector.
