Exergen Global Introduces Exergen Academy to Provide Comprehensive Temperature Sensor Training for Customers
WATERTOWN, Mass. and ZIJTAART the Netherlands - Exergen Global announced Exergen Academy, the company’s new learning resource dedicated to providing its customers with the in-depth temperature sensor knowledge needed to develop more innovative sensor solutions, and maintain sensors. Slated to begin today, the Academy will cover topics ranging from Exergen’s patented Sensoranics methodology to temperature testing procedures, maintenance, cleaning and calibration.
Unlike competitor’s educational offerings, which are built around webinars, Exergen Academy will offer instruction via video, live Skype sessions and downloadable guide books, all designed to offer a more user-friendly, interactive learning experience.
“Temperature sensors are playing an increasingly critical role in equipment used in a wide range of applications, including production printing, medicine, hydroelectric power, and more” said Bart van Liempd, CEO, Exergen Global. “As a result, customers are demanding more innovative and robust temperature sensor solutions, yet the training to develop those solutions is scarce. Our goal with Exergen Academy is to give customers the know-how needed to develop ground breaking solutions that help applications become smaller, faster, and more energy efficient.”
Exergen Academy classes will be taught by Dr. Pompei, CEO of Exergen Corp, MIT Professor, Bart van Liempd, CEO Exergen Global; Bob Harris, Industrial Sales/Marketing Manager; and Bram Stelt, Large Account Manager. Combined, the professionals have more than 100 years of experience in the temperature sensor industry and are well-versed in sensor use across a wide range of vertical industries and applications. Academy classes will initially be offered in English, with German language classes to follow shortly.
