Owen, April 5, 2019 – At the start of 2019, a team of six sensor people began business in Monterrey, NL, Mexico. The previous distributor, ESDISA, officially opened as the Mexican subsidiary on February 28. In addition to customers, the German consulate from Monterrey, Fritz Eisele Thurau, as well as representatives from the press were invited. Together with Ulrich Balbach, CEO at Leuze electronic, as well as Jochen Geißler, Leuze Distributor Manager, guests from the German company headquarters in Owen in southern Germany were also present. The general manager of the new Mexican subsidiary is Luis Alberto Tamez Garza, who opened the event with a speech. For more than 10 years, he sold Leuze electronic products as a distributor. Thus, he is already very familiar with the Leuze electronic technology and brand. Prior to the transition to an independent subsidiary, the entire Mexican team had the opportunity to deepen its knowledge of the company’s products, market and industries at the headquarters in Germany. In addition to Tamez Garza, the team also includes two regional sales managers in Puebla and Mexico City, who primarily focus on packaging systems, the automotive industry, the machine tools sector and intralogistics. The field service colleagues are supported by two employees in Inside Sales as well as an Office Manager. Leuze electronic wishes its newest foreign subsidiary a good start.
