Flexible Stainless Steel Mounting System with Ecolab Approval
For washdown applications
Balluff has expanded their product range for flexible and simple installation with a rugged system made of all stainless steel and with Ecolab approval. This makes the system ideal for washdown applications. The components of the new system are compatible with the existing BMS Ø 12 mm mounting system, so that its metal and plastic variations can be used with no restrictions.
In just a few steps you can implement even complicated assemblies fast and flexibly using the mechanically robust standard elements. The user enjoys all the degrees of freedom in terms of the three spatial coordinates and solid angle.
To ensure that the stainless steel fastening elements can be optimally integrated into machines and production lines they are available in five lengths from 150 to 800mm. The two base holders made of stainless steel fit nearly any manufacturer's mounting profiles and fully cover the slot. Together with the corresponding slot nuts these base holders then always sit symmetrically and solidly in the slot. In addition to the support rods and base holders, the kit system includes cross-connectors and clamps/sensor holders for all common form factors. This means the mounting system is also simple to retrofit.
The variable kit system makes your job much easier, since now you can fasten and flexibly adjust any sensor or actuator in the field without special tools and at the last minute when necessary. More complicated and combined constructions can be quickly implemented. This saves much time and money compared with 'home-built' solutions. It also reduces expensive delays caused by late machine acceptance.
The final user has an easy time finding new additional components when needed: the Product Finder on the Balluff web site (www.balluff.de) is a source for data sheets, construction drawings, part numbers and product images for virtually any component. 3D data eliminate the need for creating your own, costly construction drawings.
