Free eCatalog simplifies strain gage selection

The latest version of HBM’s free electronic strain gage catalog on CD-ROM is now available.

Designed to help customers in selecting strain gages, the eStrain Gage Catalog 2008 highlights HBM’s latest innovations. The software now generates quotes and outputs a completed fax order form for placing the order. A plausibility check is included in the software that covers HBM’s complete range of strain gages and uses default type codes to ensure the correct strain gage is selected for any task.

Installation advice is given using a video in German and English on the CD-ROM. This shows all the steps and precautions needed to ensure proper adhesion using HBM’s products for strain gage installation.

Extensive explanations and detailed technical product descriptions complete the range of information provided on the CD-ROM and a data sheet can be printed out for every strain gage. The software also includes new strain gages and accessories including, for example, strain gages with RJ11 connectors, the latest cleaning agent RMS1-Spray, and the hot-curing one-component EP150 adhesive.

The software is available in German, English, Spanish, and Italian. Toggling between languages is possible online.
