New Geotechnical Tiltmeter with MEMS Technology

Jewell Instruments: Introducing the 850 MEMS Tuff Tilt Series, the latest addition to Jewell Instruments’ electrolytic tiltmeter line for geophysical & geotechnical applications. This versatile, rugged, weatherproof tiltmeter is a low-cost alternative to most sensors for the geotechnical market.

The 850 Tuff Tilt series contains MEMS technology and is available in uniaxial and biaxial models. ±14.5°, ±30° and ±90° measuring ranges are available with a 0.002° resolution and ±5 VDC, 0-5 VDC and 4-20mA outputs. It is also RoHS compliant to suit environmental requirements.

With the affordability and durability that the 850 series presents, it is a great solution to many industrial and geotechnical applications. Use it for platform leveling/positioning, structural monitoring, industrial machinery positioning, radial gate measurement and control and more.
