GlyphXE™ 3.0 – new software version for data analysis of integrated MATLAB® scripts for a meaningful report

HBM Test and Measurement, the leading global supplier of measurement technology, has now introduced the latest GlyphXE™ software Version 3.0 for analysis of measurement data to the market.

GlyphXE™, the powerful and easy to use software for analysis of measurement data, can be used to create transparent evaluations and generate reports rapidly and efficiently. The special aspect here is the reproducible application of defined analysis steps, thereby guaranteeing comparable results. The aim is to recognize the statement underlying the measurement data so as to not literally drown in the data flood.

The new Version 3.0 makes several innovative functions available. For instance, the direct integration of MATLAB® scripts, new and improved analyses in the sector of rotating machines, SOMAT SIE video file support, consistent improvements in the sector of user-friendliness and a new context-sensitive online documentation.

The integration of MATLAB®, the widespread standard for mathematical calculations and model-based development by the company MathWorks™, allows the user to use MATLAB® algorithms as a component of an analysis in GlyphXE™. This combines the processing power of MATLAB® with the framework of GlyphXE™, to administrate and read in data, to display results and create automated reports.

Another highlight worth mentioning is the support of SOMAT SIE video files. Measurement data, recorded with the sturdy amplifier system eDAQ, can be synchronously analyzed with the video data recorded in parallel.
