High-precision temperature measurements made easy
HBM has introduced the new MX1609-T measuring amplifier module for high-precision temperature measurements with the QuantumX measuring system.
The new measuring amplifier features 16 electrically isolated inputs for type T thermocouples, which can be used at temperatures between -40 °C and 125 °C. Thermocouples with quality class A and accuracy of ± 0.5 °C are available in this measuring range. The QuantumX measuring system features simple operation.
An especially user-friendly feature of the measuring amplifier module allows information to be saved in the connector via the sensor. Thermal calibration data can be saved for highly accurate measurements, which allows for absolute thermal precision in measurements. The user can also save a measuring point designator in the connector for automatic identification of measuring points. This eliminates the need to attach a measuring point designator on the cable. The designation of the measuring point becomes visible as soon as the sensor is plugged in.
The QuantumX system can be expanded with numerous measuring amplifier modules and has an integrated Ethernet interface for connecting to a measuring PC. It can also be integrated into test benches via CAN or EtherCAT and can be operated independently using a data recorder. Further information is available from www.hbm.com/quantumX.
