High-resolution IR camera with microscope optics
Easy operation for test & measurement
Optris is expanding its range of non-contact temperature measurement sensors with compact, high-resolution infrared cameras with microscope lenses. “As well as shots of the entire circuit board, detailed macro shots of individual components are possible and can be measured reliably”, explains Dr.-Ing. Ulrich Kienitz, CEO of Optris. The infrared cameras come with a high-quality and easy-to-use table mount.
Over 300,000 measuring points from 80 mm distance
The infrared cameras of the optris PI Series have changeable lenses which give the customer flexibility when using the devices. Additional microscope lenses are now available for both the PI 450 (resolution 382 x 288 px) and the PI 640 (resolution 640 x 480 px) cameras. The macro shots of individual components are possible with a spatial resolution of 28 µm. The distance between the measurement object and the camera can vary between 80 and 100 mm. This flexible positioning of the measurement device allows for a simultaneous electric functional test without difficulty. With the license-free software both radiometric images and radiometric videos can be recorded at up to 125 Hz.
Hotspot and weak spot recognition
The infrared cameras with microscope lenses come in a set with a high-quality table mount which allows for the simple fine-adjustment of the camera's focus, especially in the test & measurement range. The cameras are connected to computer via USB and can be started up very quickly. The high-quality thermal and geometric detail resolution of the infrared cameras enables the smallest temperature differences to be recognized, which allows for an effective and precise functional testing of electronic products.
