High-speed data acquisition system for extremely fast signals

HBM: The new GEN7i basic device from HBM Test and Measurement (HBM) combines the functions of a transient recorder with those of a data acquisition system with an integrated high-end PC and user-friendly touchscreen interface.

Recording mechanical and electrical signals at a high sampling rate requires fast data acquisition and processing as well as ease of operation for the acquisition system. HBM meets these requirements with the newest member of the Genesis HighSpeed family, the GEN7i.

Featuring seven slots for data acquisition cards and up to 224 channels, the device offers optimum performance features for research and development applications. With a streaming rate of 350 MB/s, the GEN7i also features a user interface with a high-resolution touchscreen for intuitive operation. Easy removal of the hard disk for data storage and optionally for safekeeping of the operating system as well meets the highest security requirements.

The GEN7i can be synchronized with other devices in the product family without difficulty. The complete range of Genesis HighSpeed data acquisition cards for measured quantities can also be used in the new basic device.
