Higher data transmission rates even with numerous channels

The HBM Genesis HighSpeed data recorder family provides extremely fast data acquisition for medium to high channel counts.

The Interface/Controller Card in the Genesis HighSpeed systems has been modified to transfer the measured data even faster to a PC, and can now enable a streaming rate of up to 100 MB/s, which means the transmission speed has been doubled.

An optional optical Ethernet interface is also available to bridge longer distances between the data recorder and PC. In addition, a Master/Slave connection can be used on the Interface/Controller Card in the GEN2i models to synchronize two GEN2i systems.

Sampling rates of up to 100 MS/s can now be realized with these data recorders, even with synchronous acquisition from numerous channels. The system can be easily adapted to the requirements of the relevant application, due to the modular structure and the possibility of acquiring different physical signals.

HBM can offer the Interface/Controller Card as an IM2 Upgrade Kit to users that already have an existing Genesis HighSpeed system. This allows existing systems to be upgraded, thus enabling an increased data transmission rate.
