Kistler wins the 2006 SVC Business Prize for the Zürich Economic Area
Kistler has been announced as the winner of the first ever Business Prize for the Zürich Economic Area, awarded by the Swiss Venture Club (SVC). The 12 strong independent expert jury honoured "Kistler’s technological and innovative leadership and the excellent customer benefits of its products".
Kistler was up against 70 companies from the region who also entered the competition. After an initial selection process, a shortlist of 12 candidates was drawn up. In a second selection stage, the list was cut to six finalists who were all visited by the jury members and subjected to an in depth examination.
In his short speech, Rolf Sonderegger emphasized that the key to the success of the Kistler Group was its innovation and the commitment of its staff.
The Swiss Venture Club, founded in autumn 2003, is a Swiss association with the aim of serving as a networking platform for innovative and competition focussed SMEs. With its Business Prize, SVC is rewarding innovative companies having achieved significant and sustained economic success through excellent performance. SVC currently counts more than 1 000 representatives of small and medium sized enterprises among its members.
