Latest generation of hand-held scanners

With the mobile scanner series IT 1910i and IT 1911i, Leuze electronic offers two new series which provide an as yet unrivaled level of reliability.

The industry-compatible hand-held reader IT 1910i has been specially developed for use in extreme environmental conditions. Thanks to its special housing with protection class IP 65, the IT 1910i scanner is able to withstand being dropped onto a concrete surface up to 5000 times from a height of 1 meter and even 50 times from a height of 2 meters – and this at temperatures ranging from +50 °C to -30 °C. The advantages for companies are two-fold: They benefit from minimal downtimes and pleasingly low overall operating costs. An extremely large reading field combined with a laser alignment aid guarantees fast detection of bar codes and 2D-codes. The superior scanning performance ensures highly productive work even with poorly printed and damaged bar codes – this practically makes manual data entry a thing of the past.

The IT 1911i series is the cordless scanner variant. It operates with Bluetooth Class 1 which allows the scanner to be used at distances of up to 100 meters from the base station and reduces interference with other wireless systems. Up to seven of these hand-held scanners can communicate with the base station, resulting in a further reduction in the overall operating costs.
