Leuze electronic on course for success

Leuze electronic is investing in new company locations at home and abroad and, according to a FOCUS study, counts among Germany’s top employers for 2017.

Owen, April 7 2016 - In the last 18 months, FOCUS in cooperation with Xing and kununu has conducted a comprehensive study in which over 70,000 salaried employees and workers from all hierarchy levels and age groups were questioned. According to the results of this study, over 800 companies are rated as top employers. One of these companies is Leuze electronic from Owen. Leuze electronic is one of the world's innovation leaders in optical sensors and is internationally known as a leading manufacturer and solution provider in electrical automation. More than 1000 employees at 22 locations are involved in development, production, sales and service – supported by more than 40 sales partners around the world. "The success that Leuze electronic has achieved in the past years is due to the wonderful and motivated people who are the focus of our company", says Ulrich Balbach, Managing Director of Leuze electronic GmbH + Co. KG. The result of the survey is positive confirmation of the company as an employer. In accordance with the double-digit growth of the company, not only are parts of the buildings being extended and new production lines set up, but many new employees with different qualifications are being looked for in all areas of the company - locally, nationally and internationally - from skilled production workers to product managers and sales managers. The number of employees increased from 944 in 2015 to 1045 in 2016. We are planning to increase our workforce by about 10% in 2017, with half of this increase taking place in Germany.
