Owen, September 7, 2018 – At SPS IPC Drives in Nuremberg from November 27 to 29, the sensor expert Leuze electronic will be focusing its trade fair appearance on the company's competence in Safety at work. On the basis of its MLC safety light curtains, the optical sensor manufacturer developed the sensorless Smart Process Gating as an alternative to the muting process. A further safety highlight that will be presented is the company's RSL 400 safety laser scanner. Its new PROFINET/PROFIsafe models can be easily integrated into industrial networks. For German automakers, the devices are available in an AIDA-compatible version. Also new is the combination of the RSL safety technology with a high-quality measurement value output for the navigation of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs). In addition to their safety solutions, smart, Industry 4.0-ready solutions are a further focal point of the sensor people's trade fair appearance. Using practical application examples from the beverage industry, Leuze electronic will show how condition monitoring and predictive maintenance can help the user plan for maintenance intervals and thereby avoid unexpected and costly system downtime. Visitors can find Leuze electronic in building 7A, booth 230.
