Chatsworth, CA – October 20, 2010 – Dytran Instruments, Inc. has released a new miniature accelerometer designed for vibration monitoring of military and commercial aircraft, as well as automotive and Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) applications.
Operational to +320°F (+160°C), model 3311A is a high-temperature IEPE accelerometer that utilizes a unique sensing element to ensure greater temperature stability over a wider temperature range. It is offered with a sensitivity of 50 mV/g, and features a lightweight titanium housing, 5-44 radial connector, base isolation and hermetic sealing for reliable operation in high-humidity and dirty environments.
Model 3311A has a miniature ring-style configuration, which allows for the sensor to be turned 360 degrees prior to securing, aiding the user during sensor installation. Weighing just 3.3 grams and with a height of 0.27 inches, model 3311A is ideal for hard-to-reach applications.
