MTG with a traditional Test & Measurement portfolio and newly developed products at the Automotive Testing Europe 2023 in Stuttgart

Microtech Gefell: The Automotive Testing Europe is an annual, high-profile event for test and measurement professionals in the automotive industry. Microtech Gefell was pleased with the great interest in the traditional Test & Measurement portfolio as well as in the new products developed by MTG.

This year's MTG highlights included enhanced indoor and outdoor measurement microphones, digital preamplifiers, acoustic calibrators, sound intensity probes, turnkey indoor and outdoor test stands, and the optimised Sound Power Hemispheres SLH.

The focus was on innovative solutions, such as:

• the weatherproof microphone units WME 980 for continuous outdoor sound measurement, stationary and mobile noise monitoring as well as ambient and traffic noise analysis as a digital version with the digital 1/2" measurement microphone preamplifier MV 240 and USB interface
• the new MMS 214 1/2" measurement microphones with especially low inherent noise and the 212 1/2" for particularly harsh environments 
• localization of sound sources with 3D sound intensity probes 
• DAkkS certificates - calibration services according to the world's latest standard DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 
• Acoustic calibrators 4010 and 4011
• Sound power measurements according to ISO 3744 and ISO 3745 with Optimised Sound Power Hemispheres / SLH for for various applications in R&D, Sound Design and Consumer Protection.
• Turnkey indoor and outdoor test benches for automotive applications
