New Coating Improves Optic Performance
2012-01-23, SenseAir is pleased to launch a new high-performance coating, EQC (Eternal Quality Coating). The new coating is used in the measurement cell and increases optic performance, using the infrared gas measurement method.
SenseAir's research team have developed the new coating EQC which will further increase quality and reduce the environmental load of the manufacturing process. The use of EQC results in higher accuracy and stability. It maintains high performance in varying temperature and humidity, and in polluted air.
The new coating is manufactured through a completely new multi-layer technique and has proved superior in all the tests performed. The new coating is particularly suited to exposed environments and is resistant to aggressive gases stemming from traffic, heavy industry and public baths.
The demand for accurate and reliable carbon dioxide measurement is constantly increasing, and new standards are introduced. One example is the new ASHRAE (American Society for Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers) specification of a Green Building Standard. Another example is the Californian IAQ standard. Both include standards for ventilation control through carbon dioxide measurement. By accurately measuring the concentration of carbon dioxide in the air, optimal ventilation and large energy-savings are achieved.
