New sensor family for demanding tasks
Leuze electronic: Photoelectric sensors and light scanners of the SR 46C series impress with increased function reserve.
With the new SR 46C series, it was possible to increase the function reserve by up to 80% over the predecessor models. This has two main reasons: optimized ambient light suppression and automatic sensitivity readjustment in the event of soiling and reflections. These improvements directly result in a more stable system function and less downtime. The SR 46C series is thereby ideal for use in conveyor systems, the wood-processing industry and in special-purpose machinery manufacture. A temperature range from -40°C to +60°C and a high degree of protection of IP 67 and IP 69K qualify all sensors of this series for harsh environmental conditions. Other equipment features include the teach button for simple and fast configuration directly on the device, the potentiometer with large adjustment range, the highly visible light spot, the improved status LED and the additional display behind the front screen with the L 46C throughbeam photoelectric sensors. Within the series, Leuze electronic offers not only the L 46C throughbeam photoelectric sensors, which enable maximum functional reliability at very large operating ranges of up to 150 m, but also the SLS 46C (type 2, type 4) single beam safety devices for efficient machine safeguarding. The PRK 46C light scanners are ideal for small reflectors, heavy soiling or foil-wrapped objects. The RK 46C VarOS retro-reflective photoelectric sensors convince with their reliable detection thanks to the light-band optics. For the detection of dark and glossy objects, the HT 46C reflection light scanners are ultimately among the first choice.
