New subsidiary: SINI is now part of the WIKA Group

Measurement technology manufacturer expands presence in Sweden

Klingenberg, August 2025. The WIKA Group acquired AB Svenska Industri Instrument SINI as a wholly owned subsidiary, effective 1 August. This move strengthens the global measurement technology manufacturer’s presence in Sweden. Established in Gothenburg in 1948, SINI was originally founded as a service provider for the shipping industry. Since SINI became a distributor for WIKA measuring instruments in 1970, the partners have steadily expanded their joint business. Today, SINI enables Swedish companies to directly access a broad portfolio of instrumentation for the measurands pressure, temperature, level, flow and force. They also benefit from various services such as calibration, installation and warehousing.
