New texense® GYRN3-S compact 3 axis gyroscope

Texys International, French leader in high performance embedded testing sensors, is proud to announce the release of texense® GYRN3-S: the new and more compact version of its 3 axis gyroscope.

Texense® GYRN3-S is the result of the ongoing development process on successful GYRN3-P and a close cooperation effort with the highest level motor racing professional organizations.

Keeping the same technical specifications and high performances (2% accuracy, 40Hz bandwidth, -20°C/+105°C operating temperature), new texense® GYRN3-S offers a remarkable small size housing with 30 x 21.5 x 11 mm dimensions (resulting to a 20% less surface in comparison with previous GYRN3-P).

Texense® GYRN3-S delivers the angular speed through 3 analog outputs (one for each of the 3 X-Y-Z axes). The standard measuring range has to be chosen between +/- 50, +/-100 or +/-150°/sec. Higher speed ranges are available on demand.

An optional version called GYRN3-S-F is also available with a choice of 5th, 8th or 10th order filter, increasing a little bit the housing thickness to 15mm.
More than ever, new texense® GYRN3-S is an embedded testing dedicated sensor having a wide field of purposes for dynamic measurements in motorsports, automotive, railways, or construction and agricultural machinery.
