New Wide Field of View Lens Option for 32x32 Thermopile Array for Person Detection

Heimann Sensor recently introduced a new very wide field of view L1.9 lens option for the 32x32 thermopile array sensor. It gives you 97x97° FOV in both directions and creates a near distortion free image with high signal to noise ratio. At the same time the cost for the L1.9 lens could be reduced to make this sensor more attractive for use in smart buildings for presence detection, people counting and HVAC control.
