Packing straps geometry measurement system from RIFTEK

Using the RF089 measurement system from RIFTEK, tapes (packing straps) manufacturers can measure the thickness, width and temperature of the tapes in the production process completely contactless and automatically.

The system includes measuring frames on the base of Optical micrometers RF651 Series, can be easily integrated into existing production lines and controls 6 tapes simultaneously. Software evaluates measurements in real time and warns about tolerance infringements. Tape width measurement accuracy is about ±5 um, thickness measurement accuracy - ±10 um, sampling frequency – 2000 measurement per seconds.
