PCB Piezotronics Automotive Sensors Division Announces 20% First Quarter Growth; Further Expansion into Global Markets

June 6, 2008, Depew, NY, USA – PCB Piezotronics (PCB®), a global leader in the design and manufacture of force, torque, load, strain, pressure, acoustic and vibration sensors, has announced the strong 20% first quarter sales growth of its new Automotive Sensors division. PCB® Automotive Sensors is a dedicated sales and technical support facility, located in Novi, Michigan, devoted exclusively to the global automotive test market, including vehicle NVH and dynamics; vehicle and component performance and durability; legislative and safety; and powertrain testing applications.

To help continue the global growth trend, PCB Automotive Sensors group has an immediate need for a Global Sales Manager, operating out of the Novi, Michigan sales office, to help enhance its established team, and further the business development strategy of the new division. This Global Sales Manager will lead overall sales efforts, provide specialized management direction to PCB®'s worldwide direct sales and distribution network on automotive applications and related sensor technologies, and develop new sales channels to better serve the market. Ideal candidates would have a four-year technical degree, with MBA preferred, along with strong leadership skills and minimum of 10 years work experience in the global automotive market, as well as sensor and instrumentation field.
